Blogging Mogul

          In the blogosphere, there are many personalities and players who make contributions every now and then. A multitude of them just create a mere impact or none at all while some make it to the top. One among the leaders in the blogging world today is John Chow-  known to be a famous writer, blogger, author, speaker, father, and an entrepreneur.

          As one of his followers, it is also my intention to extend with others the inspirations and enlightenment which I received from John. Here therefore are some highlights on his life.

          John was born in a small farming place in Mainland China. When he was 7 years old, his family decided to settle down in Canada. When he grew up, he started to try his luck in the world of blogging. Slowly, he became successful on this field and presently, he authored numerous best selling and popular books such as Blogging Secrets and the no. 1 bestselling book on Amazon entitled Make Money Online: Road Map of a Dot Com Mogul. 

          His blog, JohnChow.Com, is one of the top blogs in the world today. Other tremendous achievements of John are the following:

- he has been featured on famous publications such as The Vancouver Sun, The Globe and Mail, The New York Times, Ming Pao Magazine among others;

- in 2012, he won the prestigious Affiliate Marketing Awards, and consequently became a subject of a blogging documentary on CBC Television.

The Joy Of Travelling

          Are you one of those people who love to travel from one place to the other? What are positive and negative points that we then can get from travelling? In this post, I will share with you my thoughts regarding the idea of travelling since this activity is so loved by many among us.

          For the downside of this activity, one of the important considerations when somebody is thinking of visiting a place especially if it is abroad is its accompanying expenses like the cost of the plane tickets,  accommodation, food, etc. What if you are travelling alongside other members of the family or any group? That adds to the total amount of the budget of the whole travel. Another impediment is what they termed as the "culture shock" and this happens when you submerge yourself in the culture of another country or nationality. Have you heard before of different misfortunes that happened to certain travellers due to this reason?

          Enough for those downside elements of travelling, now let us know what are the benefits that this activity can endow to you and me. And with these reasons, those downside elements mentioned beforehand will be delegated to the sidelines. If one's way of life is geared towards his/her fulfilment of all the potentialities as a human being, then let all resources be scrutinised so that more positive things can be realised.

          First, on budget- this could be prepared smoothly if proper procedures would be implemented like making a run down of all accompanied expenses of the trip then afterwards, setting aside extra money from the pocket so that within the desired goal (a year or two), the budget for the aimed travel will be achieved. When it comes to mingling with other cultures, ye it is understandable that frictions can possibly happen. However, if we will take a positive look, this is also the possibility that frictions can be avoided. 

          Instead, the traveling opportunity will allow for those involved the chance to meet new friends and connections. Alongside with it is the richness of the interactions when two or more cultures meet and evolve as one. Thus, I believe that there are more positive points that we can acquire when we allow ourselves to go to other foreign places therefore broadening our horizons and our connectivity with people as well as culture.

                                       

My World of Blogging

          Blogging started on the early 90's and since then, it has grown into a very popular activity for anyone. Much have been said about this writing on the net and elsewhere, it continues to evolve into a powerful platform for people to communicate online their thoughts on many matters. 

          If we look at it, we could say that blogging really is not that old in existence yet it has become so popular that even the powerful worlds of advertisements and consumerism are tremendously affected by it.  The rise in popularity started in 1999 especially with the arrival of self hosted blog tools. 

• "Bruce Ableson launched Open Diary in October 1998, which soon grew to thousands of online diaries. Open Diary innovated the reader comment, becoming the first blog community where readers could add comments to other writers' blog entries.
• Brad Fitzpatrick started LiveJournal in March 1999.
• Andrew Smales created Pitas.com in July 1999 as an easier alternative to maintaining a "news page" on a Web site, followed by Diaryland in September 1999, focusing more on a personal diary community.^[22]

          As such, many users of the online world soon become members of the so-called blogosphere - the world of bloggers. Indeed, it is on this online world wherein bloggers come and share the joy and success of blogging. On the other hand, they tend to give and get support from one another. This kind of world that is devoid of any discrimination, boundaries, exclusivity and the like. And count me in as one of those people who make use of various platforms to express my thoughts.

            Presently, I maintain a couple of blogs to express my thoughts and inspirations on certain topics and sharings. Enumerated below are examples of them- my sources of communicating my thoughts with you all. 

1. Every Day is a Gift- my blog which focuses on daily inspirations and human interests. On this blog, I share with the readers my thoughts on subjects that touch our daily lives and correspondingly affect our day to day journey;

2. Promoting Strong Future International- my online marketing business. Here, Strong Future International (SFI), being my first and foremost online marketing business since I have other sources as well, is constantly promoted and shared. Methods and updates on this company are displayed and extended to others most notably to those who would also be interested in putting up their own online marketing business;

3. My Life Journey- a blog on my life journey and on other people's lives inspiration. Beforehand, I am aware how my life is interwoven with other people's lives especially to the significant people in my life- my wife and my kiddo, Kurt Kristoff.  Conscious of the influence given by these special people as well as that coming from all others whom I encounter every now and then, I share my thoughts from those bonding moments with them through this blog;

4. Sports Diary- being a highly sports minded person,  I came up with this blog sharing with the readers news and updates on the sporing world. Sports plays a significant impact on people's lives since this field involves lots of facets such as discipline, consistency, moderation etc. to excel in such a way that I am also inspired by all those examples set by these sport characters.

5. Come and Share Our Fun (Jugan Clan)- a blogger who belongs to a big clan originally coming from Cebu Province, it is on this blog that I shared the history, developments, events, accomplishments and others as experienced by the members of our family. It is the intention of the writer to share our family members'  inspirations and hard work not only within the family yet to other readers also.

          Thus, with all those blogs and a couple of which I would still continue to develop, it is with joy and pleasure that I extend my thoughts and aspirations with all those who have encountered and who will be reading them.  A heartfelt gratitude for all my readers and a warm welcome for those who will one day encounter any of my blogs.

Moreover, occasions spent on the internet could result either positively or negatively depending on their intensity.

            With all these facts, do you consider yourself one of those who have more time to spend on the internet rather than socializing and connecting with their loved ones? The sense of belongingness is very crucial in their stages of growth advancement. You need to spend more conventional time with them rather than just allowing yourself to stay and be a slave of the web. 

          Thus, it is you, yourself, who initially knows if your time spent on the net is still a positive one so much so that it allows you to grow as a person either as a husband/wife, or as a father/mother, or as a friend  and be a positive influence for others. My MOOMBA Festival 2013 Experience

The first Moomba procession, March 1955

MOOMBA FESTIVAL was a 15 day festival officially opened on March 12, 1955 by Governor Sir Dallas Brooks.^[4] The inaugural programme included a fireworks display, parade, vintage car display, Henley rowing regatta, river floats including a "Lord Mayor's houseboat", cycling race, tennis at Kooyong, concerts including performances by the Victorian Symphony Orchestra and Royal Philharmonic choir, crowning of the Queen of Moomba and riverside carnival. 25,000 turned out to watch the inaugural Moomba parade down Swanston Street. The first Moomba was heavily criticised by Melbourne's conservative establishment, including the Anglican church which at the time claimed it was hedonistic and embodying social decay.^[5] Council responded to the criticism citing that Moomba was intended to be a festival for families and as such is reinforcing family values in society.

For this year's festival, I and my wife were lucky to have witnessed  the final day- the festival day itself. Most of the celebrations were held at river Bank, Federation Square and at the Yarra River itself.  Among the amusements were: carnival including Ferris Wheel, food stalls, various games, face painting, minute exhibit and many more. It was very evident to me that all really had a good time while participating in all events. The laughters, the shouts, the chasing of the children and the adults, everything I saw was a manifestation of the day's excitement. Moreover, I observed that everyone , old and the young alike, big and small, white and black, enjoyed the day's festivities. Therefore, Moomba united the people of Melbourne and it crossed any boundary or bias that anybody may bring within himself/herself.  

On the other hand, what I enjoyed the most was the water events in particular the Women's slalom final, the Men's slalom final, Men's long jump, and the Women's long jump. I was so delighted to witness world class performances from the finest athletes representing some parts of the world such as Florida, France, Canada and Russia.  I was in awe as I watched their breathtaking stunts and jumps. Hence putting all these positive experiences that I have for this year's Moomba festival, I could claim that I am eagerly looking forward to next year's festival. 

WHAT I SPEND MONEY ON

          Every human being believes how essential money is to his/her life. In fact, there exists a constant tug of war between the pros and cons of money in one's life. Others may say that "money is the source of all evil" while some may proclaim that without money they would not survive.

           Personally I believe that it relies on each one of us to portray the significance of money in life. No one among us could survive without having money in his/her own pocket. We cannot have efficient education if we don't have money to pay for our tuition. Moreover, we can only acquire healthy food on our table if we can purchase them from stores. And by purchasing them means that we are spending money to acquire something.

           I myself would like to spend my money on things which could improve my everyday living.
